I feel like a Russia-Japan non aggression pact would make it too easy for Germany to be taken down. The real battle of the game is whether or not Japan gets to Russia before everyone else gets to Germany.

I’ve heard that Japan should reach and knock down Russia as soon as possible. Then how about building 2 ICs in India and French Indo China? I think it’s better than 2 ICs in French Indo China and Manchuria 'cause I can help Germany by attacking Caucasus through the Persian-Caucasus corridor. Or should I just build ICs in the original territory so that I can reach Russia faster?

wait till turn 4 or so then maybe build an ic in india. this depends of course. If the ic is in india. Japan ic in india is very popular

Only India is close enough to Russia to make it worth it. Make sure Japan has plenty of tr. to constantly send inf + armor towards Russia; that´s really more important than an ic.
