Just checked.
Yes, kamikazes are used with low luck with that option on.
In this test game
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=26522.0
I tried the “Edit Mode”.
This is what I wanted to do:
In G1 I moved the AA gun from Ger to Fra in NCM.
I did not want to do this, so I used “Edit Mode” to correct this.
So I loaded the savegame file, and before starting the Russian turn, enabled the edit mode.
I deleted the AAGun in France and set a German AAGun back to Germany.
These steps were not part of the turn summary posted after R1 then.
They could be seen only by using the “View history”-feature of Triple A.
So the second try was: Loading the safegame file after G1 and starting the Edit mode after startig the Russian turn.
I succeeded deleting the AA Gun in Fra and putting it back to Germany.
But I wonder that in the turn summary it is said:
Round :1
Research Technology - Russians
Turning on Edit Mode
EDIT: Removing units owned by Russians from France: 1 aaGun
EDIT: Adding units owned by Russians to Germany: 1 aaGun
EDIT: Turning off Edit Mode
Purchase Units - Russians
Russians buy 3 armour and 5 infantry; 0 PUs remaining
Units owned by Russians? This should be wrong.
The third test was similar to the second test but now in the Edit Mode I first put a new AAGun to Germany (and made sure it was a German AAGun)
followed by deleting the AAGun in France.
But again in the turn summary it says:
Round :1
Research Technology - Russians
Turning on Edit Mode
EDIT: Adding units owned by Russians to Germany: 1 aaGun
EDIT: Removing units owned by Russians from France: 1 aaGun
EDIT: Turning off Edit Mode
Purchase Units - Russians
Russians buy 3 armour and 5 infantry; 0 PUs remaining
So is this a bug or am I missing something?
Thank you! :-)
a very very very minor bug
the player name is the current player, not the unit owner
fixed for next version
a very very very minor bug
Yes, indeed!
TripleA has definitely improved a lot. Thanks to you and the other developers!
