      @Noll:

      You can’t move in the Atlantic prior to war

      I know. I took that into account. That’s why the Atlantic transports will arrive after the Pacific transport.

      @ErwinRommel:

      Strategy should be simple: send every units possible to London, dont try anything fishy ;)
      And send Australian fighters to India. (possible russians fighters if that will make the big difference)

      And buy some art if you expect germany going to Scotland, when they do you hit them hard for a round or 2 (but dont win, just do damage)

      Thanks
      A simple post leads to the question of how….the length of the post is to explain how.

      I can do simple and vague.

      all units London and surrounding sz, kill German navy, reinforce India with a few Russians, save Africa, and use the Anzac as effectively as possible.

      Thank you for the productive post

      @Violent.copper:

      sz 110 max defender 1 cruiser 1 bb 2  fighters
      send
      108
      103
      germ 2bombers and 1 tac(landing on the sz 112 AC)
      west germ 1 fighter 1 tac
      95%

      The Allies can defend with a max of 3 scrambled fighters, not just 2.  That French fighter in London can scramble as well.  And remember that any casualties caused by the allied air must come out of German air, the subs can not be used as fodder vs. air.  This will not matter if the cruiser and BB get two hits before they die, but it is a factor to consider.  Germany will still win, but it will be a little more costly.  I’ll leave it to better minds than mine to calculate if it is better in the long term for the allies to scramble or hold the fighters in reserve for defense during the sealion invasion.

      Gibraltor is the best landing spot when then can enter the war.  From this spot, they can land just about anywhere they want.

      UK
      Normandy
      Southern France
      Northern Italy
      Southern Italy
      Denmark
      Western Germany (If UK can take Denmark ahead of them and hold it)
      Norway

      With the Naval Base damaged, they can only reach Normandy or Southern France.

      Remember, “If you defend everywhere, you defend no where.”

      Bombing the Naval Base takes pressure off of the Axis.  Germany will gain another turn not worrying if the US is going to attack Italy or land in UK or Norway or where ever.  They can concentrate on Normandy and Southern France.  Or let Italy defend Southern France and Germany Normandy.

      I find it very interesting and will make plans to use this.

      Going pacific with US is better, slow the giant before picking strategy for germany. This must be combined with a IC in india (support it with 2 russian inf).
      The key is to overload Japan with the stack of russians, the combined migth of all the allied resources in pacific is enough to slow Japan and then help russia. But beware this is a very though strategy to pull off since you have to think two rounds ahead with what US buys.

      I generally don’t build up my navy.  Italy starts with so little money that its hard to do.  There’s also little that Italy can do if the Allies decide to focus on your navy and take it out.  There is simply nothing that Italy can buy to prevent it.  I’d rather not risk losing that money on a sinking ship.  I focus on landing as much into Africa as I can before my navy gets whacked.  Hopefully that means I’m cashing in around Africa once that has happened.

      I like the Baltic carrier build. The case against it is that it’s five less inf moving towards Russia, but without a carrier, you’re going to use those Inf to defend the coast anyway. The only time I don’t build it, is if Russia’s first round attacks went really bad.

      Make sure you have the “Axis & Allies 1942” map chosen in abattlemap (from the New tab), because the “Axis & Allies Revised” map is exactly the same (with the same pieces starting), except that in Revised z63 DOES touch Western Canada, while in 1942 they have the map fade out into white so that z63 DOES NOT touch Western Canada.  In abattlemap, the 1942 version map shows a white block labeled “Frozen Perry Channel” to show that z63 does not touch.

      In different versions of Axis & Allies, they sometimes had the Perry Channel open, in which case z63 touched Western Canada; and sometimes they had the Perry Channel frozen, in which case z63 did not touch Western Canada.  The Revised map/setup and the 1942 map/setup are exactly the same except for this one important detail.

      Short version:
      1942 = z63 does NOT touch WCan
      Revised = z63 DOES touch WCan
