Maybe some day we can throw my AA50 table in there for fun? (you know, when it’s finally completed in something like 2032!)
Dude….that’s starting to look awesome!!! Can’t wait to see more pics when It’s done.

@Deaths:
Looks Nice.
Do I see a IC Complex in Libya?
Not sure why that’s there on the Set Up.
I play that map without it all together, That goes the Same with the IC in Hawaii.
Not sure How that Mistake made it into the Set up charts? Sorry :oops:Nice HQ, I like the charts on the Monitors.
Whoops, I did place an IC in Libya…my bad. I remembered about the IC in Hawaii but I must have missed the one in Libya.
Thanks!
I used to run a Similar Bunker, as sporting in deed. I really like the Electronic Displays.
I’m noticing your basement is unfinished… Dare I say, it wouldn’t take to much to complete the job?
Where abouts your live? A few weekends of work and minor investment, would complete your house basement, and take your bunker to an unprecedented and undiscovered plain.
Just imagine putting up the dry-wall, getting a nice gray finish (Looks stunning trust me), doing some old-fashioned millwork. Paint the doors steel. Setup some old radio equipment. You could do a mural, or atleast put some posters up. Better than Insulation, poly, and stick frame. :P
A few ammo crates full of any kind of food/candy you can imagine, a surrond sound system with 1000+ oldies and classical battle music playing. And a fridge with nothing but Beer, Coke, and Red-Bulls.
I’ve got lots of flags, antiques, and nick-nacks locked away in a storage facility I need to give away. We should talk. Pm me.
I am definitely looking at completing my bunker but I am putting it together bit by bit. A lot of your ideas was exactly what I was thinking about doing. Although, you have additional ideas that I am very interested in. I will definitely PM you to pick your brain. Thanks!
Looks rad! Yes, I know I want one…
One tip- More pieces - less or no chips = extra radness. This half the point of our own maps! Print it big, buy a gagillion minis, and never look at chips again.
Here’s my pic of IL’s 1942 map without needing chips. Never needed any the whole game! It was great.
Definitely less chips would be cool but this map has over 150 territories and 140 sea zones compared to 60 territories and 64 sea zones in AA42 so it was a little difficult. This map is already 6 feet in length and with double the amount units it was so difficult putting units on territories without putting them in the water or crossing another territory. Unless I print it to fit my basement then maybe I won’t have to use chips. I have IL’s map of AA50, which is beautiful by the way (thanks IL!), but this is a completely different map created by Deaths Head 420.

@Deaths:
Nice Pics FMG, and thats a sweet video.
Thanks guys for your time with this game varient
No, THANK YOU! For taking the time and effort to bring us this great map!
Yes thank you Deaths Head 420!
We are all set up in my bunker now with the map that fieldmarshalgames brought over to my bunker. We are very excited to play which will be in a couple of weeks. I know…we are set up a little early but we love AAA and get too excited sometimes so we drool over the map until game time! Check out the pics here.

Awesome bunker! Can’t wait to get pictures with the NEW map!
Here it is! A pic with Deaths Head 420’s Global map all set up and ready to play! Map is 32x72! This will be EPIC!!!
Man this is so great!!! :-o….how did you do that…i mean…those tvs with ipc track
Currently it is just a image that I created in paintshop and has multiple layers which can be moved around. Soon we will have a web page to keep track.
Here are some pics of the start of my AAA command center / bunker / man’s room(missing the beer fridge…lol). Much more to do but this is the start. Notice the electronic IPC chart to keep track of our IPCs without having a board on the table that can get knocked around. Also a battleboard on display for a reference on the attack and defend stats for each units.
Table was built to support the new upcoming AA Global game.
I think a close up the Rye on the table is in order… Lots of men died for a drink of rye…
Definitely! And there sure was a lot of rye gone by the end of the second game….geesh! :wink:

I will be creating some for each side as well so there will be only 2 towers. There will be multiple designs as well. I will try to get some done shortly and post pictures.
Yes! These are the pictures I have been waiting for. I’m very interested in your stuff. Will they be wood or cardboard?
Thanks! They will be MDF. Not really into the cardboard.

@Yoper:
@shifty:
This is probably a dumb question, but where are the pics? :)
Hey, good question. Thanks for bringing this back. Where’s the pics man??? :lol:
Whoops…Sorry! They are working now. I had linked them back to FMG’s forum which is currently down for their update.
The link to the combat turret is someone else’s tower.
If you are looking on what to use for storage for your game pieces then you should definitely check out Field Marshal Games’ website. Now it’s more expensive but I think it’s an absolutely AWESOME addition that is a must have for Axis & Allies.
Here is a link to their new Field Marshal Ammo Box Combat Chest.

You guys should check out the “Field Marshal Ammo Box Combat Chest” that Field Marshal Games came up with. Absolutely amazing!!!
Here’s the link to check it out.

I would like to see a two tower set, one for Axis, one for Allies. If you can shrink the graphics to fit three on each, that would be cool.
Already have something in place for that. I will post some pics shortly.
@Craig:
I have had the pleasure of playing a few games in the TwistedAries Bunker with these fine towers… They are shocking in person. VERY COOL
Oh no!!! :-o
You have played with another dice tower!!! :?
I am crushed! :wink:
No worries Craig. He was hogtied, gagged and forced to use them against his will. ;)
LOL…yep and so was everyone else! :-D
You see…everyone broke with the pressure but he was still resisting and of course is out of the picture…LOL!
Or you can just download the rulebook from the WOTC site, grab extra units (from other or older games), paint them to match, print a map out created by Imperious Leader and you should be on your way.
This is what I did any way. Although I went as far as to recreate the Combat board, IPC chart and National Objective/Setup Charts.
I was especially impressed with the infantry silohettes <sp?>. Nice touch. Very nice job.</sp?>
Thanks! I really appreciate all the compliments.
@Imperious:
If they are for sale at any point i want to buy them. I want to buy one German, Japanese, and Soviet
Awesome! I will keep you posted when I have finalized everything. Thanks!
@cannon:
TwistedAries, is there a template you are using? I know someone that is really good with wood and I tried to describe a dice tower but didn’t do a good job, so no dice tower for Christmas. Those are really nice!!!
Thanks!
I am using template that I created for them. Unfortunately I don’t have an electronic copy made yet.
