May land units ever move twice?
I thought I read that it was allowed
if it all the movement is within home territories?
or is it home and conquered territories?
Where is that rule found? FAQ or book?
Thanks

Still Waiting.
Just saying.
Are you related to the designer?
Keep making excuses for him.
Go ahead and accept shoddy rules and untested games then.
If your standards are low, more power to you; no game will ever disappoint you.
I just happen to like my games with play-tested rules, which are complete.
How about not enough pieces too?
I guess you have another excuse for that .
Just how many excuses will you make for this game?
I am just expecting good quality for my dollars.
If you accept substandard merchandise that’s your problem not mine.
How much more time needs to pass before “they” decide to fix the Rules??
What a joke.
That doesn’t resolve a thing these so called Potential Rules
What the heck does that even mean? “Potential Rules?”
You spend all this money on a game and we get “Potential Rules”
So there are no definitive rules for this game then?
Just Potential Rules?
What a joke and still no answers after what 9 months now??
Who in the heck playtested this game and did not see any problemas?
Just one person can he admit he screwed up the rules?
Or not? The designer??? Oh No? !
The number one “Official” playtester of all time? Oh very no!! Not ever him, for he can do no wrong.
Meanwhile we continues to have a defective broken game with too few units.
Yeah, go ahaed and defend thsi Mr Designer and Mr Number One Playtester Expert AnswerMan.
Really how much longer can you continue this charade?
Chirp…
Chirp…
Chirp…
The silence and absence is deafening and very telling of the lack of respect the Designer and the
Number One “Official” Playtester have for this fanbase
How long will it take for Larry Harris and Krieghund to decide that
real substantive changes are not just recommended but necessary?
It has been long enough to gather up all this free playtesting data that has been reported here
and to review all the solutions and recommendations and still all we got is a Tournament FAQ??
Come on get with it!
What other rules changes???
What a debacle!!
What a joke.
What is the probable price?
Kreig
I complained about the various Alpha’s becz I thought the whole Alpha process was a joke.
You and Larry “fixed” 1940 with a sledgehammer rather than some simple elegant adjustments.
You still did not address the questions I asked about the 1914 playtesting about the number of units and about Africa.
And why not address the question I had about wether or not you believe there was enough playtesting for 1914?
I mean come on and try to be accountable. You like the the “Official Answers” aspect of your association with Axis Allies,
But you don’t want to accept responsibility.
Your answers seem to indicate you have much in common with the IRS and The AG’s office and the State Dept.
Where no one knows nothing, like Sgt Shultz; and no one has any accountability.
Krieghund
Are you actually saying there was enough playtesting in 1914?
I’d really like to know your opinion on this.
Especially after we all indeed, we all “had to go through” the contentious months long
Alpha version 1, Alpha version 2, Alpha version 3; no wait this is the real Alpha set of rules process of redoing the rules for AA 1940.
Or are you also suggesting that there was sufficient playtesting for 1940? When obviously there was not.
Come on Krieg, don’t defend the indefensible especially not having enough pieces in 1914!
You guys really did not run out of pieces nor experience the tiny areas on the Wetsern Front?
Did not one of you suggest to ditch Africa in favor of a more expansive Europe?
Just how extensive is your playtesting when the problems like 1940 and 1914 are readily apparent upon release.
I’d sure like to know and I’m sure others would too.
OK lets start up the inevitable Alpha set of Rules.
What is the major fix needed or are there several:
Withdrawing from contested territories.
USW
Is that it?
Didn’t Mexico cause the USA to enter the war with the Zimmerman Letter? :-D
Aren’t they a member of the Central Powers too?
or could they have switched also?
I even have a difficult time with the chips,
red and blue and then even the shades of each confuses me too.
I am going back to the red and white, the contrast is then fine!!
I do not know why the game companies ignore this issue.
In so many games I have problems with the colors,
why not use more contrasting colors?
I am somewhat colorblind and when the dark board is setup with all the dark
pieces, I am lost. I can not easily tell the pieces apart from each other except for the UK and the Italians.
Even the dark dark blue French give me some problems becz the board is so dark that I don’t see the contrast that helps to differentiate the colors from one nation’s unit to another.
I’ve already had to colorize the infantry units bases of the Russians with a yellow, the Ottomans with a red, the Austrians with a white, the Germans with a silver, the USA will have a bronze.
The other pieces of each country are colorized in some manner in the same color, but less so becz each army must be accompanied by the colored base infantry.
I believe I can leave the UK, Italian and French pieces as is.
Anyone else have this color problem?
Declaring USW does not automatically cause the US to enter the war!
Reread the rules; it is only when the USA loses an IPC from USW does the USA enter the war.
So the CP may declare USW at any time,
but just attack everyone else not the USA!
OK recognizing the reality of History, but also recognizing playability, as Larry Harris admittedly does, why not allow Italy to go to war in turn 2, but each side as a whole at the beginning of turn 2, bids IPC’s to:
Proposal A: delay Italys entry into the war by one turn
or
Proposal B: to ally Italy to either side for the duration.
The United States can not bid until the 4th turn.
Comments???
