Yes but i meant the case where you don’t use chips. In fact the question is ; are there anough zombie dice and zobie figures to be comfortable without chips. If no , i just need an approxmation, as i have not played the game yet. :relaxed:

Not sure i understood all correctly (thanks to both of you by the way).
So, there is no separate upgrade kit, you have to get a A&A Z complete box to play. Too bad :(
I have a custom version of A&A 42 with a huge enlarged map (Thanks to Dedo if i remember well). So having a smaller board with no use, and well…And combat dice…And only 30 zombies (i never plays with chips, i hate them).
I’m not sure it’s worth buying a copy. And i’m pretty sure buying the extra needed stuff at HB will be more expansive than buying a box. Duh. Sad stuff.

Before the migration of the forum, i had read something concerning an upgrade kit of 42 ed. for A&A Zombies.
I can’t finf it, and i can’t find ANY site where to buy it. Can someone tell me if it really exists ?

It isn’t the photo, but i think the printing society did a bad work on it i think. I will be able to compare with the 1942 map as i changed the printing society. I will receive the map on wednesday, will upload some photos to compare.

With magnets and blue tack, you will still have a longer setup before playing, and remove them after. This could be a pain.

To be honest, i’m happy but just a bit disapointed cos it’s not completely clean, it’s a little blurry, i don’t know if it’s because the initial format is 600 ?

There is one thing i hadn’t noticed but the MZ chart is near Africa and that gives a overcharged mass, graphically speaking, of the map. I think it would really be improved if it was placed in sea zones 41, 42 and 43. That would be more balanced, and it would look like the original map. You’d be my hero if you could make the changes on the different versions.  :mrgreen:

I will certainly have the 1317 x 700 mm printed, it is perfect.
Will upload some photos of the thing on my table asap.  :-)

Drilling a small hole for the stand to fit into and then using hot glue or super glue works very well.
The stands are quite nice and the base on them is heavy enough to prevent (most) accidental tip overs too, which is a good thing at this scale!

Are you sure it works with superglue ? It would be much easier than with hot glue i think.

With the glue idea, am I to assume that the planes and stands are meant to be permanently attached? so no more putting planes in the piece tray?

I’m using zip plasctic bags. The only annoying thing is when you  have a friendly plane as cargo (it’s not supposed to fly during your turn), but it happens so rarely….
