Sweet, this is so sweet! I have this game and it’s awesome, especially the mods included with and that people have come up with for the game.

RE: Who does AA50 cater to?
From what I’ve heard, this game might have to cater to the vets, just because of all the rule problems and stuff people have been mentioning with the game. Might get too frustrating for a noob.

RE: I have chosen 2 good tanks from each of the countries in A&A anniversary!
I’d go with the Tiger and the Panther. Yeah, where is the Pz.4 and King Tiger anyway? The Pz. 4 was practically the workhorse of the German Army.

RE: Tank found
I wonder how many other tanks are still out there…well, under there in Europe and Russia. There were many tank battles and with the marshes in Russia, if a tank got in, it was definitely hard to get out.

RE: Operation: Sealion
I don’t think the operation would have been successful for a number of reasons. There was still the Royal Navy, something that would have made any landing difficult at best, impossible at worst. There were more of them to begin with and were pretty decent ships. I think maybe, from my POV, that one reason would have made any landing very costly for the Germans, and those troops that did survive would have had to deal with resistance of some sort after that.

RE: Patton’s Plan for Russia and Macarthur’s plan for China…
I wouldn’t say Korea was the least “popular,” it’s probably more forgotten about than anything. It was considered a “police action,” especially after 1951, when the lines were practically stabilized at the 38th parallel. Then it became a stalemate for two years before something was signed, but technically, they’re still at war.

RE: What do You think?
I’d say the Treaty of Versailles factored heavily into Germany going back to war, along with the fact they were still feeling the sting from the “traitors” who ran the country in WWI, whom they felt backstabbed them into throwing in the towel.

RE: Buchenwald liberator, American hero dies at 83
I always like reading stories like that, about guys who “seem” to lead normal lives but have some incredible histories/back stories. It’s also sad to hear about their deaths too, as they are a dying breed.
