Ah, okay. Reading the rules now, I cannot find anything on that US transports cannot be loaded before they are at war. Where does it say that?

RE: Naval Mine Questions
I thought the Americans could not move out from their coast (with the exception of a single sea tile right outside the coast for warships) before they were at war.

RE: What creates a hostile sea zone?
If a submarine begins its turn in the same space as a destroyer, may it move out of the sea zone without conducting combat?
For transport, if it starts in a sea zone in the same space as an enemy surface warship, can it move out of the sea zone without conducting combat?

RE: French Territories: Poll Question
Very interesting Clerc, thanks. Do you know where I can find more strategic discussion on this forum on global 1940, any key threads you know of? The articles on this forum seem to be aiming at the very basics of the game.

RE: French Territories: Poll Question
How do you go about invading Germany as the allies? In what kind of situations have you done it, what turn, approximately how many units, etc…? In our games it seems the only possibility is when Germany has most of their aircraft out of range of Normandy.

RE: Axis and allies map
Followup question, is this made for the second edition of 1940, or the first edition? Maybe there are no differences on the board itself, but we are playing the 2nd edition. Same question for the charts, are they for 2nd or 1st edition?
