Sea Battle/Transport Question

The other half of my issue would require a rule modification,  I thought I made that clear in my recent example.  I guess this may be a good time for me to figure out how to initiate a poll on the topic.

Do you think in the special situation of amphibious assault whereby only defenseless transports are present in the SZ that a single combat piece could be designated to destroy the transports and allow the remaining units to perform offshore bombardment?

I suspect the poll would show most are not in favour of this.  I wonder if comments can be supplied as well as the poll answer?  I guess I will find out.

Yes - as long as there are enough movement steps to do so.

good deal, that’s the way we played it, but the way the printing actually worked out overlapping it coulda helped the German defense of the Med, as would have that UK sz3 thing to protect Karelia.

wish they adjusted the sea zone line so this doesn’t get asked all the time

With Germany, I will be attacking the USA atl fleet first turn with a submarine.  I will be positioning my air force to ensure that the allies can not land in Europe or Africa the first turn (easy to do this time, since i will only need 1bomber and 3fighters in range to wipe out any first turn joint allied fleet that decides to move to africa).
With USA and UK, I will be buying shit tons of Fleet Defense, which will delay my landings by 1 full turn.  Russia is going to be in a tight squeeze because of this.

Russia and Japan will be played pretty much the same, except that russia can count on any support through africa being 1 turn late.
