After a long dispute with a few friends of mine (Football fans… ugh), I’d like to know what you guys think.
What sport is best to watch on TV, and why?
On a side note, What sport is best on the Radio?
For me, Hockey on TV, Baseball on the radio.
Hockey is easily the most active major sport in America. There is no downtime. Especially European games (I got Satellite TV, I get this stuff hehe). But even American Hockey is incredibly fast.
Baseball on Radio because its a more layed back sport. If you’ve ever tried to listen to Soccer or Hockey or Basketball on the radio, well it gets confusing. Baseball is slower paced, so you can keep up with the action.

and hockey used to be number 1, but i just can’t get into it anymore. Not after the Jets left - the NHL is just not the same . . . . -

I dun really like to watch hockey since it’s a slow scoring game. :-? Fun to play but not as fun to watch…
Soccer is great to listen to on the radio, especially when the anouncer yells, “GOALLLLLLLLLL.” You gotta love that. 8)
I like Basketball because it’s the most fast paced sport. Leads can change within moments. :)

WHERE ARE THE COMBAT SPORTS? I’d take boxing, kickboxing, UFC, stuff like that :D …no wrestling though :x

Definately agree there Geze. I love playing Soccer, more than doing pretty much everything else. But watching it… its not so great.
