I think that given our experience with AAE, EG and I should be the US and UK respectively. True they do require some experience to play well, however i believe that the Russian player is in more of a “screwup and die” way than those other two.

Yeah, thats why i was kidding. i guess i’ll be germany, but im not to great with them. Although one time i got at england. Anyway, i guess that shafts whoever else is playing (bossk i think) as russia :wink:

Also BossK, we need to chat soon about your placement of the 12 . . . i’m thinking Africa . . . somewhere in the east - at least to slow down German forces - esp if he’s holding the ipc’s he’ll have to build something before he can get down there . . . maybe Monty can acquire a little more land? Mind you, Russia can always use more artillary to go with all of its infantry to ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK (unless you prefer a more “winning” style . . . )

Well, what happened in the game, guys?

When I played as UK and Germany more or less ignored Africa, my little force was able to attack on even terms – we got lucky and chased em out of Libya!

When I played as Germany, I took Malta and whupped Monty thoroughly, sank the E Med Brit ships, and then rolled armour into Caucasus. Soviets had nothing at that point to stall with. The IPC drain really rankled the Allies, and the shock value of the southern salient into Stalingrad outweighed what I might otherwise have done in the Atlantic with the task force.
