Just an update: upon further examination we’ve discovered that China and the caliphate can use rail to move units to russian front and also that infantry move two spaces in non combat phase. This will dramatically alter my initial assessment of the balance of the game.
I don’t see why not as long as you’re not exceeding the (3) round limit. The rules allow you to pair it with another unit on the next round if the unit it was paired with is destroyed. I think it’d fall into the same category.
It’s been a while, but I’ve got a couple of ideas I’d like someone other than me to try out and see how they work for you. 1) Increase the attack for Cruise Missiles to a “5”. 2) Decrease the move on Attack Helicopters to “3”. 3) Increase the range on Drones to a “3”, and a “4” for Improved Drones. 4) Allow Fighters to scramble into adjacent Land Zones from Airbases.
If you guys try this stuff out, please let me know how it works out for you.
@trig I’d like the addition of Strategic Bombers, Marines/Naval Infantry, along with some more detailed rules for Amphibious Assaults, new drones (Stealth, Strike), the ability to shootdown/destroy drones, Satellite Reconnaissance, Cruisers, Arsenal Ships/Fire Support Vessels, and Bio-Weapons.
