Can transports be taken as casualties during a amphibious assult?

I believe the Play-By-E-Mail system on aaeuropemc.com also uses the 2-or-less rule.
Note that Battleships still offer support fire at 4-or-less in Amphib Assaults.

Yes transports can load during combat movement and drop off. Assuming that they have the movements available.

i’m sorry to say this has to be one of the dumbest questions i have read so far. if a sub has no defense to air planes how in the he!! are they going to attack land. and no torpedos don’t fly. and no there were no ballistic missile subs at the time.
