the reasons for the 2 Fact Finding mission posts (in case anybody cares), was to prove a point. This is going to basically rehash many old arguments, so if you dont care to do so, read no further.
In one or another forum, i was talking about my views on the jail system (about the conditions, and the availability of the death penalty, etc.)
Falk, and CC (I believe), and possibly others, I cant remember specifically, were attacking this belief, as they have every right to do so.
I also remarked that if i found myself in the system, I would not be happy if i were wrongly accused, but i would still have faith in the system. They did not seem to see this as possible
Thus the point of the speed limit posts were to ascertain whether or not anyone held a similar opinion. now, unless the voters tell me specifically, i dont think i can find out who voted how. but there were 9 total votes on each thread, and i will assume (for arguments sake) that they were the same 9 voters, even if not true, it makes logical sense. all 9 believed its good to have speed limits, and 4 out of the 9 said they would be upset if ticketed (frankly, i believe at least 1 of the 5 who said they wouldnt was lying, but thats just my opinion)
at any rate, that essentially shows that there are other people who see how you can believe in a system, yet still be upset if it works agains you in some way. judging by your posts in the thread, CC, i take it you were among the 4.
of course, there is a room for error, as there could be entirely different voters in each thread, but logic would suggest they are the same.
after that long winded, almost spiteful post, you probably feel i wasted your time. if so, sucks for you. you can consider me an asshole if you want, but i like to prove points, even if they are old ones.
