I have to spend a long time battlecalcing every scenario if I decide to place my fleet next to Gibraltar. That certainly is the best option if you can avoid mistakes, but I wouldn’t do that in a face to face game.

Yea i agree there, taranto is the easier option to pull off.
But in the case or rare dice in 110, or just a weak attack there, sometimes you can pull it off.
Having a BB + 2 cruisers + destroyer + carrier + 3 fighters available will deter any attack on it from italy or germany and that fleet can easy defend sea lion or punish the italians for moving anywhere but stay put.

But just doing taranto is the easier and safer bet.

TripleA also has various versions and setup of the the game.
So you could start the 1942scenario or balance mod, or tournament rules.
Or even classic or revised.

You can, but if you stay in the baltic you can use the fleet to ferry inf +art from germany to novgorod the next turn as well. Making that 3 unit factory a 7 or 9 unit factory ( by moving from germany directly there each turn ) speeding up your attack and having more units available.

Inf + art is same attack as mech+tank but you save 3 ipcs.

I have the set too… I also found the default set a bit short… if I’m not mistaken, I have the default set, two sets of the 25IPC add-ons, and I custom-ordered an extra ten 10IPC chips (as mentioned by others, contact IWNGU directly to get IPCs in a non-set fashion, as I did by ordering extra 10IPC chips).

Bottom line, I was happy with the number of 1s and 5s in the default set, but needed more 10s, and got two sets of the 25s.

If changes happen every five:
For easier identification of the quantity and to avoid large estimation errors, I think that the best guarantee is given if the distinction is made every five with the characteristics of the change for each fives as obvious as possible. That is, to change the top or two top chips of the stack in each new five of subsequent value. It is also good to use mainly gray chips from below and to complete a stack of up to four gray chips, so that the level of the quantity is indicated by the height of the level.
