Battleships or subs
-
which are the best for sea-battles
the cheap subs or the high attack/defense battleships -
Subs. 3 Subs attacking 1 Bb = Subs win. 1 BB attacking 3 subs = Subs win. Its all about numbers.
-
I think I’d have to agree with Yanny; although, I would probably buy a battleship if I had sevral subs already just to add some punch to my force.
-
However, if you play with two hit battleships, battleships are quite a formidable force.
-
a 2 hit battleship helps your fleet more then 3 subs. It adds some firepower, less then subs though, but it can also take 1 extra hit and it can support amphibious assaults and it can attack planes.
-
Well if you plan on attacking, subs have the all powerful first strike attack. Plus in major sea battles 3 subs will give you 3 hits while a battleship will only yield 2
-
I only use 2hit bbs to protect transports. This way, Air raids or hit and runs dont hurt me as much.
-
The main advantage of Battleships over subs is that, unlike subs, they can shoot planes
-
Good point, I never thought of that.
