First game help!

@Moxin The axis do have an advantage, but when you’re just starting out you only need a bit of help as the Allies to win, 12 or 16 bid

We use the houserule, that Axis has to win or is to strong on turn 10, then they win and otherwise they lose.

Usually best to build 1 mech for each tank.  Build artillery in Ukraine.

Wow never considered sending jap forces into the Middle East. Figured the would always have their hands full in the pacific. also sorry to teslas. I was not saying the plan was bad or you need to go to the Middle East. Just saying that it was an option for good income.

Retreating is done at the end of a combat round.  You can’t skip the prior steps and go straight to retreating, so you must fight at least one round of each declared battle.  It’s the same in all versions.

However, in AA42, AA50, and AA40, attacking (and defending) subs may avoid fighting by submerging at the beginning of the first round if there are no opposing destroyers.

when i wrote my original reply alpha was in its early stages. since then lh has gone to great lengths to balance the game. i now am very happy with the new set up and think it is balanced
