  • Note : If USA attacks Japan’s fleet in z35 (Philippines) I’ll use all my Kamikazes (most likely splitted between Cruisers and the Battleship, depending on what USA brings). I’ll also, most likely, scramble all 3 planes. Bottom line, please let me the chance to do those orders before throwing dice.

    Same goes around Italy (z95) and UK(z109). Depending on what ships USA brings, I might try to sink USA instead of fighting on land.

  • Well, on that ridiculous end to a ridiculously lopsided result, I am out.  Good win, I resign.


  • This roll is very disappointing! I don’t like a good game like this end like that. I was so curious to see next couple turns.

    Japan would never conquer West USA, but my plan was to keep it checked. Maybe even causing major convoy damage. I say 2 full turn of USA was needed to repel Japan’s threat. During those 2 turns, Calcutta would be in danger. I gather also as many armors than UK’s infantry. With my planes it was last turn Calcutta was able to produce anything. I was curious to see if you would send all planes in Calcutta and retreat USA fleet. I think only that could save Calcutta.

    Russia is big… but far from hurting Japan for real. At least 4-5 turns is need to threat any victory city. I was only fearing reinforce of MInf coming from Persia, those on board could possibly get in Calcutta in time.

    Europe now. Even with USA taking Rome, reinforced by UK, I think I could retake it with 2 turns. UK losses are for good, and USA don’t have any backups coming. Only 3 units per turn in Rome itself. Only the Russia stack in East Poland is a fair threat. I was planning to attack it to smooth it. Germany still earn more that Russia and don’t have to travel to fight. It was just a matter of time (like 3-4 turns) to face Russia alone. UK is no more, USA threatened in Pacific (or at least must act there to save the game) and with Africa almost free of troops, I was sending troops from London for economical purposes. I was anxious to see if you would be successful in blocking my way to Gibraltar this turn (UK Cr to z103 and French to z104). This blockade would gave time to UK fleet in Med to face me… and with possible help from East USA, my plan to due south and take Africa + Bresil + others here and there was jeopardized.

    Anyhow, an excellent game, although luck gave me the game. You are an Excellent player and I enjoy very much to play with you.
