I would say yes. I believe in the rule book it states that parings may occur in any stage of a turn. For example, if i have a tank and a mech. infantry blitzing into a enemy territory with a tank, that would be considered combat movement. Than in the combat stage one could pair the tank with a tactical Bomber. Both movements being legal in my opinion and experience but i would check out the pairing section of your rule book to affirm this.

Question, I’ve looked at all the post I could find on mech inf movement but could not find an answer to this question. If a ground unit captures an area can a mech inf move thru that area that same turn and capture another area. I don’t think so but could not find that example anywhere. I know if with armor they can blitz but if ground unit captures and stays in first area can they do this?

No, you can’t do that. All combat is simultaneous.

Thought so, thanks calvin.
