Very rarely do I run out of US carriers. I just use the chips if I have more than 4 American carriers. Sometime I just borrow one or two from 1942 second edition or Europe 1940. They are pretty much the same. Europe 1940 comes also with 4.

If so, why?

If so, why?
I can’t see any body ever taking it, it holds absolutely no importance.

It’s a good spot for an accordian factory and a mime school…. :-)

it’s already allied, so why do it?

So you can build an air/naval base?

I have tried it. If japan is doing a 2nd turn attack they can take this little island and on second turn land aircraft there and build an airbase on second turn……It’s good for keeping anzac in check. Hard to keep a hold of being so far away and in between Anazc and US.

I’ve taken it J1 because i was waiting for a turn 2 attack, unlike most, i play to have fun and do random openers not this perfectly sculpted J1 attack you see every forum game started with. Back on topic….New Hebrides never amounted to anything, just one less space for allies to land.
