So are you sticking around or what?

It’s Tuesday and I want my pizza!!!

  • My earliest Presidental memory is Reagan giving a State of the Union Speach and talking about drugs. I remember watching that in my great grand-mother’s house.

I’m sticking around. You keep on ordering! Though if it’s alright with you, I’m not putting any anchovies on it. I don’t like anchovies… How about some Pepperoni, Sausage, Onions, Bell Peppers, Grated Parmesan, and a dash of Garlic? That’s making me hungry. :-D

I’m only posting in General or Other Games. I haven’t even played a game of Axis and Allies (except 2 solo games of Bulge) since I came to Texas… For some reason life is all about college and stuff like this:

    OK, not quite…

That pizza sounds great, and no…not a fan of anchovies. :)

I haven’t tried to play a game here in forever since my Toshiba laptop became a very expensive paperweight (long story and I got screwed by the very law that is supposed to protect consumers).

Where are you going to college?

Ah, cheated by the unfaithful computer? That’s gotta hurt… Yeah, I didn’t really like the idea of doing online games. But alas it is the only way to do it when your old guard group dissipates.

I’m going to Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. I don’t have $10,000 to blow on a semester, so I’d rather do it for my last 2 years instead of wasting cash on material I can either CLEP or understand from some irate professor that at least has decent office hours.

  • My earliest presidential memory was Nixon beating McGovern by a landslide.

  • I’m a 33 year old a$$hole!  :x

The computer worked fine for a while, but 3 techs couldn’t fix it, Toshiba wanted to keep trying or offer me way too little to replace it.  Kept going back and forth, got a lawyer, blah blah blah.  I basically have to swallow the cost with no pc since no one can fix it.

Ah, I thought maybe you were going to A&M - I was born in Bryan.  Remember very little about Dallas-FW area.

That sucks. I don’t know what sort of tech they provide by Toshiba, but I can’t stand those techs. It’s like you almost pay them extra warranty money so you can sit on the phone and hand over information that they cannot keep on file. Not to include I need a translator, which wastes even more time…

A&M would be the last place I’d go, haha! No offense, but I don’t think that College Station folks give enough attention on someone wanting to focus on Business Writing to make me want to go.

DFW area is alright, Fort Worth is definitely better as a college party city. If you walk downtown on a Friday Night at 7 literally everyone is dressed trendy, and by 2 they are all stumbling drunk, minus the DD. Good culture too, Cowboys and Symphony can mix, plus the place is clean… They’ve really cleaned it up apparently. Dallas is pretty violent, and dirty.

I should have sent it in first…it wasn’t Toshiba’s fault their 3rd party techs couldn’t fix the thing.  But I do fault them for being completely inconsiderate, inconsistent, and rude when I should have had a replacement and not months of agonizing wait.

    No worries, just curious. :)

I think you’ll find that problem in most big cities.  But I can imagine the burbs being a little better than the city proper.

I always wanted to hit up San Antonio but never did, and heard Austin was nice to go to.

Dallas does look like the home of a family of Rats. Fort Worth is awesome.
