• Friendly fire happened a lot more often in the Desert Storm, and weren’t reported as much. So this is more of a way of asking for forgiveness.

  • ya Ive seen videos on CNN of th US troops hitting US troops.

  • Yeah, they even made a movie of it once. I can’t remember the name but it was based on a tank commander(?) [Denzel Washington?] opening fire on his own men during the intense night battles of Desert Storm.

  • @Anonymous:

    opps that was me

  • your thinking of “Cruage under fire”

any way. heres my take on 9/11, first i’d like to apolagise in advance for anything that may ofend you people. i tend to be a little more outspocken then usale on these kinds of topics.
ok a few thousand incent civilans died at the hands of mercilus terorists. thats how the media in both our countrys have presented it, right?
lets take it from a diferent point of view shell we.
in an impoverished nation, war stricken and starving. instede of giving this poor nation help, the most powful nation turns a blind eye to it. simple becase of whos in power in the impoverished nation. so after a wile the people living in the gutter start to get upset at the nation that should be helping them but is not becase of there own interests. so these people decide to strike back at this selfish rich nation by using there own machines agenst them. so using nothing more then knives razer blades they take over 4 air planes and crash them into the heart of the nation. giving up ther own lives for what they belive in. to attack at the greedy curupt rich snobs that have forgoton about ther sufering.

now heres a diferent idea, now how could this hapen completly under the nose of the US athoritys. simple they wanted it to hapan, ok they did’nt want them to blow up the WTC but the bush administration wanted a terorist attack in amarica so he could get suport to go play with his new military toys in the sand. he just had no idea how bad it was going to be.

i could go on with the rest of amarican hypocrycy but i’ll save that for a diferent thread.

  • The US has spent hundreds of thousands per EACH AIDS VICTIM because of the fear and rantings of the gay community.

Completely false. Aids victims have a 85%+ death rate. Money is very rarely spent on them individually. And I myself have yet to see one outcry from the gay community about aids.

Aids is the most serious disease ever to sweep our race. Worse than the Black Plague. Worse than the Spanish Flu. Aids is the pinacle of Darwenism. The perfect virus. We need to fight this disease, because it doesn’t go away like other diseases. In fact, it doesn’t kill you, it lets other viruses do that. If Aids is not controlled, researched, and cured, hundreds of millions of people are slowly going to rot away.

  • And I myself have yet to see one outcry from the gay community about aids.

I don’t know, there was a pretty big outcry in California a while back…

If Aids is not controlled, researched, and cured, hundreds of millions of people are slowly going to rot away.

Doubtful it can be cured… the answer lies in containing it and through education

  • AIDS can be prevented. That’s a hell of a lot better than many cancers and heart diseases.
How do i not get AIDS now???
    I stop being an idiot.
    Very very simple.

  • YAY- the first topic iv posted that looks like it will be popular

I absolutely agree. Let’s pour our money into Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.

  • how about the US stops its wastful militery spending and uses the mon on healthcare.

  • you’re confusing them w/ Canada, my friend.

  • hmmm… 1/2 of a percent of the entire budget goes to the military…

  • ya you can leave bombing countrys to the UN

  • YAY-the first topic Ive posted thats gone popular :D :D :D

  • Moses is that it???
    0.5%?
    That’s wacky.
And yet its still the most impressive armed forces in the world.
    uggggg

  • On actual budget spent on new military hardware… that’s what I’ve heard.

  • @TG:

    @TG:

On actual budget spent on new military hardware… that’s what I’ve heard.

Quite a difference between the two statements:
The second would not include paying for the staff, the maintainance of hardware, military research etc.

I must say, i think the first is way too low. The second explanations sounds more plausible.

  • I heard milatary was the first priortiy of the american budget

  • I heard milatary was the first priortiy of the american budget

    As it should be.
Our government was not formed under the ideal that it would serve as a “supermarket” to provide citizens with a vast array of programs to accomodate everyone. OUR GOVERNMENT IS HERE TO PROTECT IT’S CITIZENS. That’s something I think people too often don’t understand.
In my opinion, our country would’ve been a lot more prepared for 9/11, had the government been able to pour it’s time and money into our defense (military, intellience, etc.) rather than wasting my money on the lazy bum down the street who could care less whether he got a job.

ya you can leave bombing countrys to the UN

HA! The UN won’t do shit when it comes to enforcing anything. Why would we leave the security of our country in the hands of an organization that is anti-American?
