@hkytown1 The A20 and BH planes are also listed in Axis & Allies Miniatures Search database: http://www.aamcardbase.com/
Really handy if you want print out cards that match the land unit cards. :-)
Another question. Can somebody please explain exactly how this works. Superior armor 2-An attack must beat this unit’s defense by 2 or more in order to score two hits against it. I am confused.
Well, as far as counters go, I can tell you this: Disrupted counters do not count as permanent damage per se, as they go away after one round. Damaged counters, on the other hand, are actually structural damage, and do not go away. On that note, in order to score 2 hits in one round against a unit with superior armor 2, you must beat it’s defense by 2. Normally, a unit without superior armor would be damaged if you beat it’s defense by 1, but not in this case. However, it still gets disrupted by just equalling it’s defense.
I hope that helped.
Thanks. What happens if the unit you are firing at is already disrupted, Do you still have to hit it twice before it takes damage.
I haven’t played that way, but for an official word, talk to Der Lieter. The way I see it, hits are cumulative throughout one round of play, but in order to score 2 hits against a unit with Superior Armor 2, or to score the second hit of the round against it, you must exceed it’s defense by 2.
Again, DL should be able to clarify… :-)
My apologies, I don’t normally check this subforum so I missed this one… but (belatedly):
Superior Armour X - An attack must beat this unit’s defense by X or more in order to score two hits against it.
Normally to score two hits with one attack you only have to get 1 more than the units defence. With Superior Armour X you have to beat it by X instead.
