Probability of 1 dd holding off 3 subs, 1 in 140.Please no lectures on how after you hit two subs in a row without me getting a hit in return that the odds were 50-50, I had to attack because the sub would be sunk if it retreated.
Also please please don’t point to a battle with 50-70% odds and say that’s somehow equivalent to losing a battle with 99+% odds.

I have another concern:
What if Italy/Germany pushes everything against Calcutta and/or Sydney while keeping the US at peace? (With Japan getting in position to conquer the last 2 VCs (HK and Manila) and doing so just after the German turn?
