First, Hitler is definitely dead. He killed himself hours before the Soviets stormed Berlin.
Second, I would take much of the History Chanel’s programing with a grain of salt. It seems like they sometimes sacrifice fact in place of something to make their shows interesting (they are a company, after all, and they want to make money). Also they have shows about monsters and UFOs, which makes me doubt the credibility of the entire channel

Did any of you ever watch the special on Unsolved Mysteries about Rudolf Hess? The show presented a theory that the man behind bars was not Rudolf Hess but a look-a-like. They made claims that Hess was shot down over the North Sea.
