  Module installation instructions: You have to move the unzipped map to the “downloadedMaps” folder in the folder where you installed Triplea. Reboot the game and look for the title in the selection screen.

We would love the original MB Conquest of the Empire and Shogun maps via an edited photo like your other maps. Unfortunately we dont have a high quality digital camera!   disclaimer: I playtested the game alongside Andrew and others from this forum and also bought a copy, so I did my bit

  Late to this thread but respectfully, having a tripleA plugin for this edition is something I view as monumentally important for developing the level of play on this new edition beyond the relatively basic level that I’ve seen so far on YouTube/social media/etc.

  Yes the physical game should be purchased to ensure that hasbro/renegade continues making more editions but if there is no officially sanctioned online client for a&a NA I see no reason why an open source project that makes 0 income (not even on ad revenue) shouldn’t be allowed to exist. This very forum exists today largely on the back of continued G40 league play, which is also done exclusively via tripleA.

  @Krieghund Thank you for the swift reply. I don’t think that thought crossed my opponent’s mind (we usually play Global, so the idea of attacking Germany…and leaving oneself open to counterattack…is not on the radar).

  Zombies is a different game.

  @Rescue55-joe I believe the “10 IPCs for each country” that you are referring to are actually the National Control Markers, which are used to track both conquered territories and national production levels. As barnee pointed out, IPCs are not physically provided, and the Rulebook instructs us to track them on paper, but any proxy (such as Monopoly money) will do. See page 7 of the Rulebook for details on both National Control Markers and IPCs.

  In a nutshell, the National Production Track is used to chart your “income” using a National Control Marker. and every turn the “money” goes into your “bank account”, which is represented by IPCs, where it can be spent on new units (or saved for later).

  @Krieghund Thanks! (For completeness, I should have been more clear in that Germany controlled Persia at the beginning of its turn in this example. i.e. there was/is a legal landing zone for the fighter)

  November 8, 2024 is the 80th anniversary of the end of the Battle of the Scheldt.

  Following the failure of Operation Market Garden, the First Canadian Army led a month-long effort to clear the Scheldt river of German forces to open up the port of Antwerp for shipping. Following the victory, it would take several more weeks for the river to be demined and Antwerp deemed safe for ships. The time it took to clear Antwerp and the resulting supply shortages along the Western Front was a major factor in prolonging the war to 1945.
