Another thing I found is that they seem to roll high.
I just got done playing my first game of AA50 and I had this problem more than 1 time. It seems they either rolled high or low for me.

I believe you have to have done about 100 posts to give karma to another person from what I read from another post awhile back although I could be mistaken. I do not know how to see who gave it.
If there were aircraft on the airfields and two hits were scored to damage it are the aircraft destroyed or do they have a chance to move to another location?
It should be about:
2 Carriers
2 Battleships
6 Destroyers
5 Transports
10 Subs
This is the amount I have in my set.
Are you looking for how many of each navy piece that is supposed to come with the set?
To fully capture the opposing players supply tokens you have to completely wipe them out on the island where tokens are located or do you just have to have control of the island?
Ok thats what I was starting to think. Thanks.
That makes sense. I think this will make it more clear what I am trying to get at.
The scenario I was thinking of is I am invading an island and in a sea zone next to it I am engaging whatever vessels there are with whatever sea forces I have including a CV with fighters. If the fighters and CV survive the sea conflict can the fighters then participate in the land conflict? Or during their move phase do I have to launch them from the CV to island for them to be able to participate in the land conflict and not the sea?
Thanks for your help and patience frimmel. I am new to this type of conflict after having only played Revised.
If a battle occurred in a sea zone next to an island that would also have a conflict and their is a carrier with fighters which survived the sea zone conflict, can those fighters participate in the land conflict?
That makes sense. It was not very clear in the rule book. Thanks for the help!
I just got Guadalcanal for Christmas and got a couple of questions I am hoping someone could answer regarding the combat. The scenario I came across is when you have a sea battle and it involves carriers from both sides and they contain fighters do the fighters resolve their combat separate in the air combat phase or during the sea phase. The same goes for when I want to launch an ivasion of an island and want to use fighter and bombers for support and there is an airfield with fighters do they resolve their combat as apart of the air or land phase? I hope I made this clear enough. Thanks to anyone for their help:)
Have not had a chance to play the pacific or europe. Asked for one of them for christmas and got Guadalcanal instead. But Revised is not a bad way to go. A good way to preview it is on gametableonline.com you can play there for free.
That’s what I thought, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
When a battle is declared and there is more than one power defending say Germany is attacking a GB territory but there are some American units in the same territory how his that conflict solved?
Do the AA guns just fire first at any ftrs that are in battle and then not again or do they continue to fire each turn if there are still ftrs left?
