i think that students should be encouraged to read, anything they like, just get them into books.

i dont want to get in the middle of this discussion, since i have little to contribute. i do, however want to address the ‘owner’ of this post: reading darwin making you an evolutionist is like listening to elton john making you gay. especially since current theories are BASED upon darwin, but are far, far from it. and judging from the numerous grammatical errors in your post, i have a hard time believing you gained much from it (yes, i know, i type in all lowercase, thats not because i dont know better, i just like it that way). its a difficlut book. so is the bible, and i think that reading it would benefit you far more than reading darwin, even if you arent a christian. taken just for its allegorical content it is a valuable book. my $.02

what? because you personally have never heard of it doesnt mean that it doesnt happen. ive never met someone who smokes crack, so it must not be real. come on, its a proven fact that smoking=cancer! and if you wanna smoke in your home, thats your right, but anyone who smokes around children should be shot. im serious. that is just as much child abuse as hitting, even more so because you are killing your child. who may one day smoke because of your example. of course, youll be dead and miss it, but it will happen. i think we should be nice to smokers, however, as long as they realize that it is a harmful activity, and are respectful of MY rights. smokers rights should never supercede nonsmokers rights, and as long as you understand that, we can be friends. sorry, i feel sort of strongly about this.

i agree. any more than that and itll become too powerful of an addition. whatever floats your boat, but when you make ‘super units’ i think that shown your lack of a good grasp of strategy.

well ‘bought’ the map, and have spent hours and hours altering it. political boundaries and blow ups of smaller countries, grouping or island countries, things like that. more power too you though, if your amking it i think it would be cool to get one of those overhead projectors, and you could copy a map onto the clear stuff and project your small map onto the wall, and trace it on a bigger piece of paper? thats what i thought of doing but gave it up as too much work, and will alter my map. itll be nice :)
