The Soviet Order of Battle during WW2 had something like 500 divisions that were put to use against Hitler. The Germans had something near 450. The US’s target was near 100 Divisions and they ended up with something like 70. I don’t know much about the British OOB, but it was definitely less than Ameirca’s.

I think the Kalkin Gol battle was a victory due to Soviet guns and tanks.
In both cases the Soviets fielded better equipment, which eliminates Japanese Esprit d’ Corps as a tactical advantage. I wonder if there has ever been a movie about those engagements!

I think the Panthers are better in the Red Zone than the Pats.

GI- The point of the case is
The parents want to care for her and the husband wants the feeding tube gone. I wrestled with this case for a long time since I don’t think the Government should be involved in these types of decisions. My opinion changed for all the reasons I listed in my original response.

Incidentally, the Law passed by the Florida legislature and signed by gov. Bush bans the “medical procedure” that would have Killed teri. As
fas I know it doesn’t ban euthanasia. I have a problem with euthanasia since it reminds me of the old “Eugenics” laws here in America as well as those of the Third Reich.
