i cant wait to get this game. it looks like dday with a new map and background. operational level games are fun and quick. i think an italian campain would be great. i also think a north africa theatre/ southern mediterrianian game would be great. it could feature german and italian forces vs the brits/anzac and americans.

i too think there should be movies made about the africa front, with rommels german and italian afrika korps. the spanish civil war is also a good idea. i think a new movie on the bismark story could be good as well. they need to start making movies on a story that nobody has  made before like the fall of france/belgium/holland. or a story on the eastern front of the germans, including their hungarian and romanian allies. a movie like that would cover interesting topics that havent been touched on in recent movies.

i played dday and found it to be a nice alternative to the usually lengthy games that are europe, pacific revised ect. dday can be completed in an hour and is very fun, fast paced and histoically accurate. its the choice if you want to get a quick game of A&A in. i havent played nor heard much about the battle of the bulge game so i cant compare the two. but dday is certainly a great addition to A&A.

i think to have 1 ac with 2 fgts attached provides a valuable defense to your feature fleet. the defense roll is solid for both the ac and the fgts plus any other ships you have in your fleet. i like to have at least 1 per nation but usually no more than that.

whenever i play as germany i always try to get the kriegsmarine rolling and set up for sea lion. establishing a solid flleet is my 1st priority

i dont think the axis has that much of an advantage in Europe. germany can be overwhelmed quickly if usa and britain get into the game early. as for pacific, i think japan starts out a little to beast as far as military goes. the aussie and american navies have to quickly take out japans navy to start taking the islands. india also provides an important chokepoint as well for japan that can be annoying for the allied player.
