great feedback luckyday. We are going to play tonight (friday), and since I don’t think my group is aware of the tank push I don’t know if we are going to be able to use this strategy or not. I haven’t mentioned the tank push to anyone because we really enjoyed our first game with Europe and I don’t want a (possible) unbeatable strategy to ruin the game.

RE: Haven't played Axis and Allies in forever!
I was going to start a thread asking if the economy has had any kind of impact on people getting together to play boardgames, like A&A. Lately, instead of going out to the bars and other activities that cost too much money, my friends and I have been blowing the dust off of the boardgames and playing.

RE: Does Risk suck?
@Guerrilla:
perhaps the oldest thread resurrection ever?
lol. Well, I was just wandering around the forums and found it. I wanted to give my two cents about it since Risk does get knocked quite a bit.

RE: Is this game worth buying?
My experiences are with classic, revised, and europe. We just got Europe in a couple weeks ago and played it. (minus the pieces that were missing, those came in a week later. But I suppose that is for another thread :roll: ) We had a blast. I like the fact that you can play around with a German navy (they start with 10 subs in the water) and the convoys are a neat addition. We may give Pacific a whirl in a couple months or so, but this game is worth the buy IMO. (rules are like a mix of classic and revised with some small variations)

RE: AAE not broken–Tank Push Broken, Balance Restored
Has anyone tried out this tactic yet? We just played our first game of Europe a couple weeks ago and had a blast. It will be quite disapointing if the game is broken and Germany can win everytime with OOB rules. (I am not a fan of house rules in any way, shape, or form. Free Parking is Free Parking :wink: )

RE: Does Risk suck?
I think risk has its place, or places.
Exactly. I am playing Risk with my 6yr. old stepson right now, wondering when the time is right to bust out the A&A.
