so, technically, a vehicule could make all its movement along a road filled with enemy tanks, and if the fourth enemy tank successfully disrupt your vehicule, it would go back four hexes, perhaps out of the line of sight of the tank that disrupted it? That’s just weird…

I think that if the MG42 were to cost 20 pts, I would have to be the ULTIMATE anti-infantry unit. I’m sure they were better than the vickers, but by that much?
Stats would have to be something like 15-13-12 against soldiers.
I do agree with you they should be stronger than the vickers, but something like 11-10-8, so it would be better by 2 at every range. This way, it could cost about 13-14 and would be playable, but at 20 pts, would you use it?

I don’t think your enemy should get defensi-fire against banzai charge because defensive-fire occurs during movement phase, not assault phase.

so if I understand, if a vehicule passes through 2 consecutive hexes with a vehicule in it and gets disrupted by the defensive-fire of the second one, the moving vehicule would “warp” back to the hex he used to enter the first hex with a vehicule?

Double Shot - This unit can make two attacks in your assault phase. When making a defensive-fire attack, this unit makes two attack rolls against the unit that provoked the attack.
This is taken directly from the German MG42 Machine gun team. It states that there is two attack against the unit that provoked the attack (for the defensive fire).
Me and my friends were arguing about being able to attack twice in the assault phase. So you think the MG42 CAN attack twice per assault phase?

Hulking Mass
Does the “Hulking Mass” ability allow you to remove the first damaged counter you receive each game or does it allow you to negate the first “second hit” you receive each game. I’ll write what I think happens in () beside the following examples, considering the ability has not been used yet :
- One attack makes 2 hits. (Unit is disrupted, not damaged)
- One attack makes 2 hits and a second attack in the same phase makes a third hit. (Unit is destroyed, ability cannot be used)
- One attack makes 1 hit and a second attack in the same phase makes a second hit. (Unit is disrupted, not damaged)
- One attack makes 3 hits. (Unit is destroyed, ability cannot be used)
Am I right, or is there something i’m missing?

RE: Different Set-up
This weekend we tried playing with six tiles but also with three players in an all out war. Every army still had 100 points but with 3 players, it was quite something trying to push forward to the objective. I also found out that it’s really hard to make lateral attacks with a jagdpanther (no turret) so we may come up with a house rule allowing “no turret units” to align with a hex corner instead of a hex side to allow lateral attacks. When placed this way, only the 2 hexes adjacent to the chosen corner would be “front defense” and the 4 others would be “rear defense”.

Double shot
Another special ability question…
Does the double shot ability allow you to attack twice in the assault phase and also allows you to make two defensive fire or does it only allow you to make two defensive fire? Me and my friends can’t agree on this one.
As I understand it, you should be able to attack twice and to make two defensive fire.

true, but since the tiger disrupts your bazooka as it enters your hex, do you have the attacking penalty or does it only apply after the assault phase? In other words, can you stack movement phase hits (defensive fire) and assault phase hits as such:
1 hit in defensive fire
1 hit in assault phaseis the tiger disrupted or damaged?

I agree that the Croc is too powerful for it’s cost. I think it should still be used, but the cost should be more like 42-45. I played yesterday against a croc and I had to use both a SS-Panther and a Panzer IV to get rid of it. At least, the croc is very slow…

ok, I was planning on using an aluminium carrying case filled with foam. I thought I’d cut holes in the foam to place my units and put an extra piece of foam on top of the units so they don’t fall when I pick up the case. But I’m afraid I might bend the tank guns or some infantry arms. Maybe a carrying case with the handle on top instead of on the side is the solution.

VIVE LA RÉSISTANCE!!! It would be great for the game to have a couple more french unit. The resistance units could maybe have some kind of special ability similar to the SS to negate disrupt disadvantages… or maybe something like it but not as strong…
I would really like to be able to use a France only army against Otto’s Panzers.
