There was a short lived reincarnation of the original transformers in my area a year ago… I still dont like to talk about what they did to the show. They took the decepticons and predicons (from beastwars) and based it in the original show against the auto bots. :roll: :o :(

shermans sucked

Actually Shermans worked very well at what they were designed for, infantry support. With the machine guns and heavy load out of HE shells they could support infantry far better than their German counter-parts.

When put up against jerry armor shermans didn’t fair too well. A side or rear shot was required for the heavier “cats”. Otherwise ya can sit and watch the 75mm shells bounce off the hull. The U.S. relied more on Tank Destroyers to dispatch enemy tanks.

Well if it is just till U.N. troops releive them, why not just let the forces from West Africa hold the line since they are there.

How long would soldiers have to be there? Till both sides stop shooting each other, till a new gov’t is in place or till the country is stable?

I dont recall seeing anything about the Liberia, i could be wrong. But I figured “what the hey, why not?” So who, if anyone, do you think should step into Liberia to help out?

My mothers half of the family came to America from eastern europe in the 1930’s. My fathers side of the family I dont really know, I have seen my family name “schneider” in the service of the Union army in the civil war, however i think my last name in Germany (where my paps family was) is kinda like smith or Jones here.

I digress, should those who decended from my mothers side of the family pay for something that took place nearly 100 years prior to their arrival in the country?

I guess my question about Germany playing reperations would be, are they paying those who were placed in camps and survived? Or are they paying the people who were not there but are decendents of those who were?
