It doesnt make a difference… Just make sure the AA gun fires before the bomber, since the bomber will be removed before it gets a chance to shoot, but if the battleship hits, the unit it hits, is still able to shoot!

Hey guys, since there are mainly axis strategy discussions in here ( or maybe i didnt notice the allies ) i was hoping some of u veterans could share your wisdom with us… Right now im going with an aggresive russian against germany, uk going for norway and moving in from there, if germany is weak, maybe land in western europe, while keeping the japs away from the far east. and last but not least i use USA to take over USA, så that UK can move his troops to the east, in the end, USA starts moving in on western europe. In some games i try to disable japan by taking over some of those tasty islands, but its often not worth it. so, what are u strategies? ( im not interrested in advanced strategy telling u every single unit u should buy, since the games can be so different every single time )

Have a lot of transports that seems to be transporting units to the mainland near russia, but keep putting them back to east of japan. suddenly u move the transport to alaska ( the north western american area is alaska right? ). i dont have the map right now but i think that should be possible. that way u might be able to move on to the rest of north america, maybe with a IC on alaska… this wont achieve u a victory but if u have a strategy that needs USA to stay away from europe, this will definetly do the trick… Again, i dont have the map but i think this should be possible :) and if japan is able to take USA he would need such a massive income, that the game would already have been won before he attacks usa…

Can anyone link me some places where i can read A&A 1942 spring edition strategies… every time i search for them i end up in some other A&A game forum…
