When you guys are saying per nations turn are you talking about the OM rules or the LH supplemental rules?  Because the box rules state that per bomber you can only take IPC amount of money.

The only tech I don’t like are teh heavy bombers out of the book.  They aren’t as rediculous as they were in classic but they still are overwhelming.  Once I have heavy bombers I just buy infantry and transports.  So if your playing by the book buy them early and buy them often.  Germany on turn 1 with Hvy bombers is just silly.

yeah but really those battle ships still did their job.  4 at a 4 will kill 2-3 inf per turn, well 2 inf = 6 3 = 9 so killing a sub worth 8 is just just as good and pretty much garunteed.  Personally, I think I would have just bought three inf instead and risked it.

Look in the OM you can.  It only says that you have to choose both techs and how much you are spending on each before you start to roll.  You could go for all 6 if you really wanted to.  What you can’t do (which you could in the old game) is spend money on tech then spend more money on tech.

TripleA runs as on Java so you might need to download Java to run it.  I know I did.  Even then I had some DLL’s out of whack and had to do some cleaning and refreshing.  It’s definitely worth picking up though.  Is that how games on here are played?  Through TripleA?

Persia connects to two Russian states, Cuacaus and Mykrackistan, or whatever, I just pull the guys out of the other country and attack Ukraine with my everyone who is close by.  I can also move russians into China as well.  Since Japan takes a bit to really get to much gear over into mainland aisa a couple of guys can stymy them pretty well.

Aye, that was something that caught me as well.  Even if you win them all, now you are in three spots in Germany with no real hope of defending any of them.  Once Germany pops through you’ll be in dire trouble trying to set up another decent offensive.

Is it you can’t collect income or is it that you don’t go through the collect income phase?  From what I’ve read it looks more like you don’t get to go through the collect income phase than it is, you just can’t get cash.

I can’t see it happening all the time, but ofter our games come down to who’s going to fall first Germany or Russia. And in many cases it’s Germany that picks up Russia.
