I have played with it several times and it seems to be a real struggle for the allies! I find that the game is still evenly weighted! Afterall Germany only has to defend a small part of Europe now because there is no eastern threat! Also the oil money combined with the russians money makes for a more equal IPC count! Anyway it seems to be fun that way! Otherwise the game gets to focused on Russia! You can also take out England early and then go for Russia???  :? It works for us? Has any1 else played like this?

Is anyone else sick of the same old drive for Moscow!  :? It’s good fun but can sometimes get boring! I think  :? anyway even if the real Axis Powers captured Moscow the Western Allies would fight on! So my Axis and Allies group decided to make the rule of capturing two important capitals!  :evil: In return the Allies have to take Germany and North Italy. This means more action in the Med as well as the Atlantic and Russia! What do you think any opinions or suggestions?

Does anybody prefer the Allies?  :?  :? ??? Anyway the general idea is Axis is more popular??? So which side do you think the game favors? If any?

I have captured the USA!  :evil: It was alot of luck though! The USA sent Everything South to Morroco! In an attempt to Attack Italy and then Germany! I just keept retreating And the force in Italy made them delay defending there homeland! I used Iceland as an Air and Naval Base! When i was ready I easily stormed through Canada’s single tank and with a simitaneous Naval strike the USA was engulfed by Germany  :evil: :evil: :evil: And i won the game!!! I know, however, I was very very very very lucky!

Cool!  :-D I agree the Axis is more fun to play with to!

:? I have had Axis and Allies for a bit under a year now and I have only played with two players! I always find that people prefer a side! I prefer the Axis!  :evil: I have friends who prefer the Allies and Axis. The rule is whoever owns the board choses what they want first.

I played as the Axis for the first time a while ago and loved it! The Med campagin is easy for the Germans to seize the upper hand!!! After that I built an AC and sent it to the Gilbratar Strait and stopped British supply with the Middle East. This allowed me to roll into Egypt and the Middle East! Then I was able to flank the Soviets and destroy them!  :evil: I know this was probably just lucky but it is amazing what an AC can do  :-D
