Germany has a navy with transports and land units on them in sea zone ‘A’ and England has a navy in that same sea zone, they are at peace at the moment. The second the Germans declare war on England/France, do they have the ability to leave that sea zone without any combat occurring or does England stop them in combat?
Or is there a way that Germany with the intention of war, can avoid that navy yet strike with that same force on the same turn?
Can you screen one navy force called ‘A’ through a sea tile, then have that navy force ‘A’ do a screen in the next tile for an amphibian assault? In other words, can you do two screening forces with one being dependent on the other?
Once the KMT become a major power can it still have the decentralized military ability of placing any three troops in any land zone it owns?
For some clarification on advance submarines on when they can only be attacked by the Attackers combat phase. If Germany gets advance subs, then raids a line with one British destroyer there on convoy escort (assume no other techs come into play beside the advance sub of course) does the destroyer get a roll to kill the sub or only a plus one to the convoy modifier? What about that example but replace it with a plane on maritime patrol, does that plane get a hit? Or can both not hit and only on the British turn can they attack that sub with only a plane on maritime patrol?
I have a question about using the same alliance’s transports. If I’m the USA and have Inf in London and Normandy is allied possessed (France), can I use a British transport to non combat move into Normandy in one turn or will it be loading up on the transport in one turn, then unloading into Normandy the second? I assume since the transport never moves into another sea zone you can just load and unload in one turn since you don’t ever have to wait for the transport to move which it states in the rules.
Hey I was looking for the general requirements of placing facilities and all I found was that factories can be placed in land zones with IPP value and that’s about it. Does that mean that even with a surround city you can just rush a fort (given you have the improved construction tech) in that surround city?
