If it were attempted, what would the general consensus be to add Italy as a playable country to Spring 1942 1st ed?
Obviously the territory would be given to the Italian player as well as different color playing pieces, and perhaps they would receive 3 to 5 IP per turn, but it would add a 6th player, and the more the merrier.
Thoughts? Improvements? Even doable?

Wow, I may try this. I find he British pacific situation fascinating. I think there a several options available, but all require very good dice rolls.

Here’s an idea, what if Britain opened by building an IC in India, using the rest of her money on infantry back home, and then built a decent navy in the pacific on turn two, effective for the third round. Is this feasible? This could be done with landings in Norway during the Pacific focus.

Why would I need the new ones? Are they absolutely critical?

Didn’t know if anyone was selling/trading their Spring 1942 2nd edition board? I assume it would be playable with the 1st edition pieces.
