Strange that nobody answered so far?! In my games going full pac or atl only worked (a little) with the US when the British did very well. I even tried to take Borneo but ended up with a japanese fleet that threatened the US westcoast.

So in summary we managed to take some pressure from the Russians but came in a - in my opinion - much worse position. Because then we had to build units to defend the american homeland…

Any ideas what we did wrong?

Sounds definitely like fun! But it decreases the chances of holding back the germans. I like the strategy of mainly building inf + fghters and tacticals so that i am able to make some counterattacks while i retreat.

In the Triple A version the AI controlling the US always takes the neutral (?) countries in south america. In my opinion only Brazil is pro allies and the rest is strict neutral. Is there a rule that says that the US can turn the south american countries into pro allies?

I also think that this is a big gift to the axis players. As Russia you should spend all your money for troops on your mainland and focus on slowing the german army.

i am from Germany (so my english won´t be perfect) and play the 1940 Europe 2nd ed and 1942 2nd ed for about a year now. All i can say so far is: I love this game and so do my friends.

After a little time i have a few questions and maybe you can help me with one of the biggest.

Is there a reasonable way to compile an army? I mean the ratio inf (+art) - tanks - planes. Do you guys have an easy way to calculate the power of an army?

Can you tell me where to ask my questions about certain rules?
