Introduced to AA revised by a nephew, my brother and me played the Allies in our first game ever. Our nephew kicked our butts. Since(a years time and hundreds of games) my brother and me have tried lots of scenarios.
I have come to the conclusion that the Axis can’t win unless the Allies make a HUGE mistake. I would like some opinions from some Axis achievers.
Basically as the US, I purchase maximum amount of transports each round to send the maximum amount of Troops/artillery/Tanks to Africa. Constanly. If I lose transports….oh well. I just purchase enough for the next round to keep hammering Africa until I eventually control it.
I also pull my West Coast battleship/transport/destroyer and move them through Panama into the Med battle. Yes I leave the West Coast waters undefended because by the time the Japanese can mount an invasion on the West Coast, I can build up enough defenses to repel the attack. Every turn I keep some oddball IPCs to throw at the west coast to deter a japanese invasion.
Can someone that has been successful with the Axis contradict my method of madness?
