Axis: Offensive
Allies: Defensive
US: Try to balance your forces. To much used to help the Europeans could give Japan the upper hand in Asia. North Africa or Iceland could be a place to land to get to the fight in Europe. In Asia you must try to help the ANZAC and/or get near Japan so they will change focus from ANZAC, China and India.
UK: A huge Navy will do landing in Europe easier, infantries is cheap and will do it easier to defend those territories you capture there. South-African troops could move a little more north.
USSR: Try do defend against Germany, also to take Norway could make trouble for the German player.
France: Die. Have fun with what you have in Africa and try as good as you can to prevent Italian domination.
ANZAC: Hope for help. Get some troops to the Celebs, Guinea and Borneo.
Ger: Always take France first, after that you can use a fleet in the baltic sea to do some naval assault in Russia.
Ita: Gain control over the pacific, and then it will be easyer to capture Gibraltar and North Africa.
Jpn: Take Australia is what I would do first, simultaneously take Kwangtung and move forces against India.

Vichy France rules
Here is an idea about A Vichy France rule. When Paris was taken by Germany during WWII, Most of France joined the Vichy regime. François Darlan and the navy remained under Vichy along with many colonies. Normandy-Bordeaux and Paris was German territories and southern France the Vichy capital.
French Indochina was lost for the Vichy early in the war along with French equatorial Africa and Syria.Morocco, Algeria,Tunisia, French west Africa, French central Africa, some part of French equatorial Africa, French Guyana and Madagascar remained more or less under Vichy control. But all joined Free France during the war except for the northern Africa countries that remained under Vichy until the allied invasion.
How about when Paris is taken Normandy-Bordeaux, Southern France, the navy in Mediterranean and the french force in North Africa joined the Nazis, but half of the units in France is moved to UK represents Free French forces who fled and the rest of the French territories in Africa and around the world remains unde Free French control. RE: Leaving Normandy-Bordeaux to the French
How could US use that factory? If they’re taking the territory wouldn’t it become French again?

RE: Italian Weakness
When I’m playing Italy, I take control over Gibraltar, Southern France, and Egypt earning 5IPC and then crushing the British and french fleet in mediterranean and get 5IPC more.
Then taking Northern Africa and later Cairo and become even greater than Germany. If you take over Egypt, you’ve already got Cairo… ?
Oops I mean South Africa :-P
