If you suddenly experience slow load times on the forum, please report it here. However, please do not report “gut feel” slowness. Instead, if you think the site might be slow, open this image in a new tab and force reload it. If it takes 3+ seconds to load, then the forum is slow. To be even more helpful

Please report:

date time (with timezone) approximate or exact time to load that image please speficy whether it’s an approximate or exact timing

To get the exact time, open “developer tools” in your browser, which on Chrome is Ctrl-Shit-i or Cmd-Opt-i And do this, after clicking “Clear,” when the cursor goes off screen, force reload the page at that time.

Hmm for example, try a themed debate, much like the one I had with Tall Paul the other day.

IE, you discuss a topic, and all your responses/shots have to be in puns in reference to a theme…

say for example, a LOTR theme, regarding gun control laws.

In your case Magister, it most likely is a combination of factors.

Your ping time is slow (on a speed test, I typically ping at 31-34 ms) and your bottom-end download speed is also slow.

Combine that with a slow response server (A&A.org), and you are going to get some very poor results.

If you are on Cable, then you need to do some work on your system.  Perhaps too much running in the background, or perhaps you are in need of having a “system tweek”

I always come in thruogh the main page, and I also have the RSS feed from the main page linked on my Yahell 360 and My Yahell sites, so I always know when changes are made ‘up front’ :-)
