yeah, but look at who they gain influence over. Usually little old ladies, or people who i could influence to help me build a mighty castle encompassing most of Alabama.

So you think the old ladies are responsible for the raise in hate crimes?
Seriously, you don’t need to be smart to be violent, usually it’s more the other way round….

yeah, i figured one needed to be violent in order to be smart to . . .

Also isn’t “finstern” German for “window”? Or is that finestre and French?
i’m sooo confused. You’re a confusing guy FS. If indeed you are a guy. Maybe you’re a lesbian . . . ahhh well, it’s not like the world doesn’t have too many of those either . . . .

  • english: window
    german: Fenster
    latin: fenestra

    german: Finsternis
    english: darkness

  • All in good fun::: yer fellow non-zombie humanoid. Remember, the X-Men had to put their lives on the line against the <<master mold=“”>> for the good of all of us, mutants and nonmutants alike. (Well, maybe you don’t remember – this was way, way back in the late 1960s immediately following the origin of the X-Men.) Anyway, just an aside for any FANS of comix who might be lurking.</master>

    lurking…

And in French, window is fenetre with the accent ciroconflex over the second e, am I right? I hope French studies here in Canada have helped me learn something.

In what am i confusing ? And no, it’s not window. It’s darkness, haha, i have more fun than all of you writting down my nick, but as you do believe in “evil” and “good”, you probably don’t find it funny at all :), anyway if i take this nick, it’s because at first you make me think of that guy who call me darkness because i tried to be objective.

And in French, window is fenetre with the accent ciroconflex over the second e, am I right? I hope French studies here in Canada have helped me learn something.

    You’re right, fenêtre.

  • well, i can see your amusement FS,
but really for someone who tries to shine the light of objectivity, education, and reason on the world, you might well have gone with “window” - a window is so much more revealling than a wall.
i understand the satiristic over/undertones. Maybe there is some self-fulfilling prophecy, n’est pas?

  • well, i can see your amusement FS

I doupt you can really see CC, for me the idea of angels and deamons was always highly comical, even when i was christians my parent always told me it was just image. So the idea that some people at there, maybe even here, believe that i am sent by satan or deamon, it’s just amusing.

but really for someone who tries to shine the light of objectivity, education, and reason on the world, you might well have gone with “window”

Bah… a nick, i had no other idea anyway. I always fight for social developpement, with communist or now with secular humanist, i obviously don’t want to shed obscurantism. You will not agree with my fight against religion and the conception of god, but i am not driven by hate or by personnal motive, i just want to fight obscurantism (obviously, fight is in a purely philosophical point of view).

Maybe there is some self-fulfilling prophecy, n’est pas?

You obviously don’t know me. But now that you talk about it, i am drinking much more blood these time. :)

  • i just want to fight obscurantism

Rarely do I see anybody who doesn’t. Though actions are better at determining this than words…

well, you are forgetting about politicians and lawyers . . . .

  • hahahaha, What percentage politicians purposely tell you that they practice obscurantism? The answer? Not very many. How many actually do? Almost every one of them. :-?
