@CWO:
I think the two pictures are clearly related, as shown by the selected sections below:
Nice. Didn’t catch that myself.
Yep also 10th
welll immore like 9.8 cus im still in some Freshmen classes :(
Isn’t that a little short to be a term paper? :)
Call it a report then :) Was only supposed to be 750 words. Mine though is about 1400.
Never use the pronouns “I” or “we” in an essay.
When the assignment is “Right a Paper, in Your Opinion, should we go to war with Iraq based on…”, well I is OK :)
Well, I still don’t like to use I. I’d say something like, Some legitimately say that the Untied States should not attack Iraq instead os saying I dont think we should go to war with Iraq. But that’s just me. If you can use it though, I guess it’s all nice and good.
It all depends on the prof. This is an old convention (not using the pronoun “I” or “my” etc.), but it’s no longer as “important” as it used to be, particularly given recent trends in literature, English studies, etc. I think it’s all part of some post-deconstructionalism that took place in the early 90’s. It’s not that important anymore, and some people are embracing use of the personal pronouns in terms of making something “the author’s ‘own’”.
Well, we’re not exactly talking about an Orthodox teacher here :) It’s hard to desribe Mr Note.
