I am playing with a bunch of friends, and we are still just learning the subtle tactics of the game. However, we are improving quite quickly, and therefore I would like to ask: what are the standard rule changes for a typical A&A game between veteran players in order to balance the game?
Russians restricted and bidding? Anything else?
How about two hit battleships?

Yeah, bidding and RR are your two main ways of evening things out for the Axis. However, everything else is purely optional. :)
