The base pack, yes! As far as I understand, the other packs are single-payment to open, no monthly fees.

Nice…but I despise this method of selling content. Sure, there’s a megasale, but it encourages you to buy ingame currency. It gets you hooked and then you feel you have to buy.
There are some freeware phone apps and probably PC as well that have lo-fi Dominion, but it’s called something generic. Can’t think of the one I had on my phone before I lost it though.

For me, I often get lost with the sheer mass of cards that are in all the sets of dominion, so I don’t mind just playing with the base. There are enough variations to keep it interesting. I know the feeling though, especially if they make the environment user-friendly or graphically applaudable.
