WWI 1914 is an under-appreciated A&A game that is one of my favorites. These house rules make a much more historical game while keeping it simple. Feedback is welcome.

@SuperbattleshipYamato I have played a few games and though the Axis can initially worry the Allies , (I thought I would lose ), I have always been able to keep the income gap and , as the game progresses, it opens up much more .
I don’t believe , The Allies don’t need help in this game, if the players are equal ability.

Here is a quicker version of Anniversary using the pacific theater and making it a two-player game. This is based off of the 1942 scenario. For balance, the UK is converted to USA territories and units. Place a USA marker in each friendly UK territory and change UK units to USA units. USA and Japan earn bonus income if they own territories and islands listed below.

A Heavy Aircraft Carrier operates under Aircraft Carrier rules - with the exceptions mentioned in the rules.

So yes - air units from a Nation allied to the owner of the Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit can land on and take off from the Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit.

The rules for Tank Buster & Ground Attack Air Unit are not yet fully play tested - we expect to be able to release these rules no later than 16th December this year.

Yes - the Underground Factory remains an Underground Factory when it is transformed from Minor to Major - or Major to Minor.

Any upgrade to Underground Factory is only lost when:

The Underground Factory is moved The Underground Factory is destroyed

Here are some of the rules I liked that are different:

Naval spotting - makes sense, maybe add +1 to spotting roll if sub or plane present.

Research - I’m assuming those are free rolls.

AAA - firing before each round.  At 5 planes seems a bit steep.

Cruiser (AA) - That’s a house rule I already use.  Makes them a little more useful.

Railroads - I’ve seen and used them, but with a limit to units moved.  But since your limiting it to 2 spaces.

Research Focus - A research tech for your research roll.  Brilliant!

Heavy transports - Another one in use.

Sonar - Interesting concept.

Not sure on the “Dodge” concept.  Thanks for the listing of your rules.
