Need help with rules

Hi! I just figured that there already seem to be pretty good summaries of LHTR vs. the original Revised rulebook. LHTR seemed like the best comparison point since those transport rules seemed to revert largely back to the timing in Classic.

-There is a downloadable 3rd edition rulebook on the AAWC site…it is under ‘Other options’ under downloads.  You need Winzip to open it.

I downloaded that–thanks for the link–and it is the .PDF of the manual for the game. It explains the “Third Edition” rule changes, but isn’t what I’d consider an actual new edition of the rulebook.

If there never was a full rulebook that was included with any print runs of the board game, or available for download/purchase to owners of the board game, that makes it more understandable that the non-CD-ROM-based A&A crowd pretty much universally sticks to Second or Fourth Edition rules.

Also, it would take some creativity with the bits to bring the Marines and Destroyers from Iron Blitz over to the board game. If I were Hasbro, I would’ve prepared a “Third Edition/Iron Blitz Expansion Pack” to sell in stores with a shiny new rulebook, and pieces for the two new unit types, when Iron Blitz came out. But that would’ve required the project as a whole to have been much better-conceived than it actually was, I guess.

(For instance, how incompetent do you have to be to print way, way too few copies of even a poorly executed computer implementation like A&A: Iron Blitz, and never press any fresh CDs even when used copies turn up on eBay for $100-plus? Was there some reason they left money sitting on the table like that?)

No i got rid of it. I have them but go to BGG and take a look at the map it is 50 x30

or has bb´s in the area, or is using 6 inf vs. 1 etc.

Are there 3rd Edition Rules for the A&A Boardgame? I heard that there are 3rd edition rules for the computer game, though I have no idea about the validity of this statement. If so could somebody please post a link to such rules?

Hi yall! About that scinario I posted its what you try to play. its like a new way to play the game. A differant objective and stuff. and tell Djensen I spelled it wrong cause I hate english and I dont check my spelling and Anymonous I am 13!
Well off of the lame stuff this is my stratagy. Usually on my 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd turns I power up the U.K. with fighters, Bombers, transports and infantry incase the enemy starts beating me bigtime I use them as a target so I can iflict damage w/ my powerful stuff. And also I buy lots of tanks to do the final touch. Then If I win in noth arfica I build an I.C. and build a big army. Then when I am powerful enough I attack Western Europe w/ my guys from U.K. and Southern europe w/ my guys from North Africa. Then when they are weak the Soviets march in and take Ukraine S.S.R.
and Eastern Europe. If you can see ways I can adjust my stratagy to make it more powerful please leave a comment.
