• Some time back I did the sister ship of this one…the Royal Oak. Funny, but the plans for this one varied slightly in terms of bow width, etc. This one, IMO, is an improvement, and shows me how practice makes us better at what we do. It’s not my best work, but better than my first go-around w/ this class of battleship.

    I didn’t see any pics w/ a plane so I didn’t put one in this time around. Pretty basic.

    A little trivia: She is known for…oh what the hell, read for yourselves, and I quote Wiki "During one stop in Halifax on 12 May 1940, she accidentally rammed and sank the Canadian Battle-class trawler HMCS Ypres although without loss of life. For the duration of the war that she served, whenever Revenge came to Halifax, the crews of other gate ships would make elaborate and exaggerated “Abandon Ship” manoeuvres in mockery of the old vessel. " Funny bit o’ history.
