When I played it was almost always with the same two people so I usually got stuck with Germany. I got to play the US once and that was a lot of fun.
Favorite country

I think uk is my favorite country to play with although germany has it’s advanteges. I’d like to know what everyone’s favorite country to play with is.

Japan
-
Japan, on this site it seems to be the most argued strategy topic - as we should do!!!
-
russia
-
Russia’s pretty fun. I also enjoy the UK
-
Germany, everything else offers little challenge
-
Japan and UK offer the most dynamic gameplay in my opinion.
-
Japan is always a blast for me…but sometimes Germany and Russia are more challenging.
-
seems to me that even though the US is very strong not many people like carrying the war effort on two fronts.
-
I just don’t like the USA because I always forget to load my transports
-
I don’t have much experience playing as Japan but when I do play them I beat Russia but have a lot of trouble with the US.
-
I find the US not enough of a challenge. Their able to take huge risks in battle without having to worry too much about some force rolling into their capital. I like Japan for their challenge of clearing Asia in time to assist Germany in Europe.
-
USA doesnt have to worry about their own arse, but they sure as hell need to worry about their allies.
-
Germany. It is the most challenging country to play.
-
When you think about it if the US loses out in the pacific there may be a threat to their homeland.
-
I like Germany and Japan… Don’t play the allies much…
I think it’s because it’s at times hard to determine how much you send to each front (Why people dislike the USA)…
-
true but iv’e always thought Germany deserves more attention

The problem with that is that the US usually either does nothing because they’re too busy building defenses or they try to do too much (which ultimatly fails) and they have a rather weak defense.

Okay maybe not a huge threat but if they do lose in the pacific they would have to concentrate more on japan which might let germany take advantage and it could end in an allied defeat.
